WE SURVIVED Ryan being gone for work! He has had several trips this fall (with a few more still planned) and left me at home with the crazies (as I like to call them).
Bauer had a hard time not being the center of attention and allowed his nose to get him in trouble on multiple occasions. Ella on the other hand was a peach except that I switched up her schedule and completely threw her off!
Through Ryan being gone, I have discovered a few things that I had never realized before.
First, help people with the door! I can't tell you the number of times we would just stand around and watch me struggle with the door while trying to maneuver a cart and Ella in her carseat.
Second, carts come in all different sizes! Some Ella's carseat will fit in which is great, but leaves little room for much else to go inside it. Others aren't even big enough for her seats which leaves me walking down tight aisles carrying Ella in her seat in one arm and pushing the cart with the other!
Third, elevators can be hard to find! Whether in a parking garage or store they are not very visible. And then typically are small so that we usually have to wait for two or so rides up/down before we can get on.
